MY heater will not stop / turn off? Any thoughts to track this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Andy and welcome to the Italian madness!

There's a self resetting procedure on the heater control unit, It's the same unit as the old Alfa 166
I'll dig it out of the workshop manual tomorrow, thats if someone doesn't beat me to it first;)

Wow!, this is exiting, a possible fix............. and I thought the dash might have to come out.... I'll let you know what happens. :)

Thank you alfatwo and catmanV2

A friendly intro to a new forum. ( it was you Catman, who recommended that I come here from the Maserati forum)

WOW!!!! you guys are GOLD!!
Heater reset, no problems , all fixed
And to think I got $2k off the price of the car, 'cause I told the seller the dash would have to come out to fix THAT problem.

I'm supposing that there is no similar "reset buttons" for the leaker radiator, dud AC compressor, Water Pump and Timing Belt................ Ha,Ha. Thanks a MILLION!! Guys. :)

Where do you live Catman? I should send you a bottle of Champagne !!

Thanks again.

Andy. :) ..... "I'ma so appy!"
