Heated Rear Screen Problem QPV

Hi, has anyone had any issues with the heated rear screen on a QPV or any other model.

Mine is not working (nor door mirror demisters which I assume are connected). The light on the switch illuminates but heater does nothing.

I have checked the fuse and the relay and they are both good.

Are there any other common failure modes?

My door miorrors do not demist either and I have stripes where it doesn't demist on the rear window... In general; I've found the demisting capability not good. There is a "demist" button on the climate control module, but it seems to turn off the air con ... does anyone know why?

My rear window demist is not good. OTOH the mirrors is excellent. When I remember to turn it on

Pretty sure I did, yes. Came on with heated rear. Unlike the GT where you use the same control for folding / adjustment / heating. So I'd been driving around with the heaters on for months not having read *all* the manual :|

Hope it isn't the screen element as there are no more rear shields for later QPV's anywhere in the World.

But there could be some good used ones with the usual suspects - they are brittle however and it's uncommon for these to fail

I have tried to get to the rear screen connections through the luggage space with no success. Do I have to go through the interior, under the parcel shelf?

Also, my rear screen heater switch lights up ok, but never switches off. Is it meant to switch off after a time period?

Does anyone have a decent wiring circuit diagram for a QPV please? I have downloaded two service Manuals so
far and neither has included a wiring schematic which is weird
