heated mirrors on my 4200

how would I know if my '52 4200 either has heated mirrors or they are knackered ?
were they standard or an option ? I thought they would come on with the heated screen but neither work even though both mirrors move, so I presume they were an option ? Can't be sure though, any ideas ?

Standard fit.

Check the fuse first...then if not that

If you place a flat wide leaver under the bottom edge of the glass, I use a 3" piece of ply wood, you should be able to flick it off its mount and check the two wires are attached and telst them for power...if not that then the elements in the glass may be shot.

My owners manual lists them as standard Chris.
