Headlight issue

I have had to have my nearside headlamp manually reset before winter for the last two years as it seemed to have dipped down. Just used the car last night and it seems to have happened again. As far as I can tell when the lights are put on both elevate and then drop down - the offside one stays at the correct level but the nearside one is much lower. Any guidance would be appreciated.

There is a level controller on front and rear wishbone on one side, near side from memory.

They rust, seize then snap.

A returning issue both Frank and I have had caused by the same scenario...donutting on wet grass with the lights on.

The violent up and down of the wishbones makes the sensors give up and lock the headlights in the up position.

Have you been naughty or been down some rough track recently with the lights on????

2006 QP sport GT. Xenon lights.
Nothing naughty so I guess it could be age related sensor or level controller. Another item to add to an overdue service!

I have no doubt it was; I did the same thing many many years ago in a Mini on a dirt field and smashed up the steering something terrible. ( the fun was worth it)

But my question is.............. where is the video?

I'm 66 now, so probably a little over that sort of hi jinks. But you must have some balls!!
