Headlight Adjustment Control

Gents, wrapping up my heater core replacement following write ups found here and on ML. Boy is it a task! Interesting how different somethings are, for example my dash had 3 braces bolting back to firewall that needed removal to get dash out. Here in the US our cars don’t have a headlight adjustment control switch next to the light switch, curious, what exactly does that do? Btw, thank you all for the write ups!

Cars with HID lamps won't have that as it's automatically self levelling. The control allows you to point the lights down to account for load in the boot

Gents, wrapping up my heater core replacement

Hey Masera, good timing! Looks like we are completing our heater core replacements simultaneously. I'm also replacing my airbag ECU while I'm in there, so don't forget to check that or replace it (my light is on, and unit is corroded). Chances are if you're core failed then they ECU will eventually...

Thank you C!

I am confident my previous owner caught the problem early on and had it bypassed. No air bag light, and don’t seem there was any corrosion. Ended up using all aluminum Saab unit with new silicone hoses. As always, thank you for the tips!

I'm so jealous. Wanted the all aluminum, but my impatience got the best of me and overnighted the cheapo...
