Seems to be frequent loss. Noticed my LHS broken off. Can see the remnants of the two luggs on the jet body. In stock at Eurospares £34 ish + +
I've a feeling that it's a dance around the maypole job, three times clockwise. No really, someone holds the washers on while it pops out, and just clip it in after removing broken lugs.
I have paint and lacquer already.
Is it simple or frustrating?
I might get 'a man' to do it as I'm awaiting spinal surgery, hence quiet on here of late. Not a lot of physical activity possible

Sorry to hear about your troubles. And yes, one person sits in the car and works the washers, the other gets wet and clips on the new cover….

The trick, as I understand it, is to be the one pulling the stalk. Never managed it myself :p
