The air vents also have a tendency to get sticky, so I was wondering if anyone has ever done this?

Not for the moment, as I got brand new vents from Euro Spares, but it is definitely worth investigating...i remember seeing somewhere a 3200 that had a factory carbon pack that included these...

Folke had a price list for these..Le Nardo is not cheap but quality...I'm sure you are looking at a few 1000 to 2000 for all that.

Also, it might be overkill once I also include the cf door panels and side sills?

Too much carbon fibre can be overkill and look tacky , i have the carbon kit on the GS door sills dash etc etc and even that looks cheap to me sometimes , the only bits i think look cool would be the rear lip spoiler and front splitter especially against grigio touring
