Was that the 'Ex Management stock' email? Some nice cars on there, was a little surprised to see the MC20 on the list alongside some large savings on the other models.

Was it a blue MC20 by any chance? The press car is being ‘retired’.

There is a blue one, reg.RK72 FMX and a yellow with MC20 MMM.

The thing is, the capability is so beyond what can be used on the public road the difference between all with its competitors is largely irrelevant.
When I drove one late last year, the road was slightly damp and you couldn't put down hardly any power at all. You need to be a racing driver to niggle pick what gives the best handling.
For me it would just be what's the most comfortable to sit in, and what appeals most to look at.
Interesting the Lotus Emira is starting to flood the used car market already, and below new price too, which is strange with a long waiting list for new car order...

To be fair, it's a bit of a bargain for what it is, considering I specced this up on the BMW configurator the other day.

Relative to a new BMW, most things are good value, which is why they’re usually discounted by huge sums (my Emira-owning friend got £40k off a brand new M5 Comp). I don’t think the Emira is particularly bad vfm, I just think it’s a lot to spend on a Lotus. I think a lot agree as all the ‘flippers’ are now desperate to break even out of them as they’re terrified as to where values will be a year from now. They’re selling at list now, they may be advertised for more, but sell at around list price.

Compared to the outgoing model, it's fantasticly hideous though. Even in your cool spec choice from the configurator. Save a fortune and buy the LCI N55 M2 original for £26-32k, like I did !!

I’m coming around to the new M2 (visually); but of a brutalist vibe to the front.
I think I’d buy a 1M - RWD, hydraulic steering rack, a bit ‘naughty’ to drive, a great story behind its creation and will retain its value.
Not a great choice of colours though…

Probably the closest driving experience to a Ghibli Cup I’ve driven. Only with a muddier gearshift and not quite as feelsome steering…

It is, yes.
But to be fair, I'm struggling with nearly all new car prices compared to say 5 years ago.
