Hi all, I have seen a set of these for the 4200. Anyone any experience with them, they give 25mm lower ride height. Look forward to comments.

The original skyhook dampers have adjustable spring platforms, which in theory can be moved to increase the preload on the spring, reducing the ride height.

In practice, 20 years of crud in the threads takes some cleaning before they can be moved, which is best undertaken off the car.

Additionally, a 25mm drop is quite a lot of preload, so shorter springs would be sensible.

I hope you can open this, as the site won’t allow me to post the full version 10.4mb.

it depends on what year you have 2002 or 2003 onwards had a lower stiffer setup. I’m in the process of changing my 2002 to between 2003 and Gransport settings.
hope that helps.
the difference between 2002 (soft) and gransport (stiff) is 25/18 mm f/r for comparison
