GTS Filling up trouble .. not the prices

Hi all, is it just me or is a nightmare putting fuel in? Click click click and 15 mins later I’ve only just about got a tank full, I’ve tried different stations, what am I doing wrong?

Sounds like premature entankulation to me.
Have you tried taking it slowly……ensuring the nozzle is fully inserted at the correct angle?

They all do it I think. I find if you pull up the handle avoiding the natural tendency to lean on the pump it makes all the difference and shouldn’t happen.

Make sure the nozzle is pointing towards the front of the car.

Seen this on a car last week. It was a kinked/twisted filler neck hose. Pull the boot liner on that side and have a look.

Thanks for the replies I'll look into the twisted filler neck, the pump timed out at BP today 3/4 of a tank and that was that

Filled up at a top secret fuel station, £1.42! Still cost me £106 to fill up...

If I was in a 2008 4.2GT with a dodgy subframe or MOT, I would have doubled its worth.
