GT windscreen washer jets.

To say that the washer jets on the GT are c..p is an understatement. Whatever I try they block up. I do attempt to clear out but it only last a while. IMO the holes are too small. Has anyone attempted to drill them out larger? IT looks possible without removing the jets with the right Dremel tool.

They aren’t great, but if they are blocking it will be because there is debris in the system. If you get that out, it will be better.

Never had a problem on either of my Granturismo’s 6 years and 40,000 miles.

As Zep say’s, you must have c..p in your system, I imagine a good flush will sort it out.

A good flush… our 916 GTV used to get a sort of jelly in the tank but fortunately the pump and tank easily accessible under that beautiful clamshell - might have been caused by sometime use of washing up liquid?

Been there done that I thought I was being smart by putting fairy liquid in the tank it was a big mistake kept blocking the jets..

It makes me laugh seeing this post over and over again. My experience is that it's all down to the windscreen washer fluid going bad and clogging up the system. The best advice as mentioned here again is the use of strident tablet's which reduces the issues a lot
