GS sound system-Right hand side not working!

Whilst out testing the new hub,a big grin no CEL life is a breeze, turn on sound system,no sound out of any
Speakers on right hand side? Checked settings turn balance,fade to RHS no sound.
Where to start? That will teach me that all is fixed.like a spoilt Italian Mistress!

Hi Robert, I can't offer specific advice but sympathise the pain from those moments.
Being Italian the problem may go away on the next outing / sunny day / other random factor.

Ps someone is bringing your wheels from Japan, in Brisbane. Spotted them on eBay for about $1800.00.
Also had the same design to suit other high end cars.

Get a fire extinguisher ready.... let's hope not, but now every time I get a minor electric niggle I'll be thinking that.

The speakers are know to have issues with shorting on the front door frames. Also the ASK amp may be at fault behind the battery.

If it is the latter you can by-pass the amp.

Speaker short takes out both sides though. At least it does on mine

Pull the woofer out of the door to start with and check the connections on the back. Water lurks in that area and can rot the connection. This happened to mine on the driver's side a few years ago.
