Hello i'm tring to improve my Gs brake system becouse in two weeks i will go to a track day in a quite fast track. The las time my brakes stopped working after 3-4 laps.
My first step will be to change pads, brake fluid and brake hoses.
I can't find anyone, except Fd that are very expensive, producing a kit of brake hoses for my car!!
Any ideas....any suggestion???
Any one that know the dimension of the hoses so that i can buy the general parts and make a complet set for my Gs???

Best regards

PS: it is true that if i change the hoses and the brake fluid then i'll need the sd2 diagnostic tobleed the brake system?

S, Loz did up-grade his brakes with a 6 pot system I believe....not sure if doing what you are suggesting will make a huge difference for heavy track usage......sure harder pads will help, but the feeling is that the brakes generally were ok for a GT type car with typical usage..... but not much else!

Hi sarosalemi, sorry can't help with the first part...
with regard to sd2...yes, I believe that is correct,
I just had the same with my 550, it is needed for abs etc.

Hi Sarosalemi, I have Aeroquip braided race hoses on my 4200, had to have them made up to pattern, but it just took a couple of days and as I had it done when the car was in for service anyway, there was no delay.
