I have cracked another GS rim. Looking for after market alternatives that are as near as possible match to the GS. I will repair and keep the original GS wheels until time to sell.Suggestions please!
I seem to recall someone saying a Porsche GT3 can be made to fit?

How about the modified QP 19" wheel that another Australian owner has fitted and has posted on here.
Modified by redrilling and sleeving for the different bolt PCD.

Be interested in seeing how this progresses, these GS wheels do seem rather fragile.

Yes I know the car very well. However I would like the wheel to "look" similar to the GS.If I can find an alternative I can redrill /sleeve .

If money is no object, these are the Daddy's of them all.

I'd love the 560R or 560C but if you find the split rim a little too going, you could look at the P40sc.

You'll get a huge chunk of you cash back when you sell the GS and return it to standard rims.

Hope that helps!

Robert I saw your post re the tyre monitors on the oz forum today but didn't realise you had cracked another rim.
Sorry to hear it. How did it happen this time?

Hi George I am not sure.I did the run last weekend around Arthur's Seat. Hit a couple of pot holes! They are hairline cracks not leaking air at the moment but only one hit away!I will-get them welded but don't if it is worth buying replacement if they will crack ,also don't know the replacement cost?

I have been looking at prices and nearly as expensive as OEM Maserati GS wheel.
What is the Off set for the Maserati GS wheel ,Front and back?
My understanding the GS Bolt pattern 5x108 Cente bore is 67.1?
Any other Tech help would be appreciated as I go shopping Monday.

The FD are what BennyD has from memory, and they look great. Slightly wider than the OEM's, so they fill the arches better without spacers.

As nice as those FD wheels are, the Maseratis just don't look right with any aftearket wheel.

I have just sold a mint set of GS silver wheels to Robin/TeamGCR and they are still sitting in my garage. You could try tapping him up for them but I don't think he wants to sell them.

I could have sold those GS wheels 10 times over.

Matt, thanks, if you are talking to him could you ask for me ? Also do you know what the Offset is for the OEM wheels? I have the bolt pattern and and Centre bore specs.
I shouldn't have said I was not having any problems the other day!

Send him a PM. I'll check the offset stamped on the back later.

I appreciate the GS wheels look great but until the roads improve they will just keep being shattered. ..I am thinking of getting a 4200 set for mine to use as the standard wheels are not suited to UK tracks.

Robert, fronts have 62.2 stamped on them and the rears 55.5, it's stamped after the 9.5J 19". Manufacterur is BBS.

This could be the centre bore but thought they would be the same number if that was the case.

I contacted BBS a few years back asking if they still made these. They were pretty clear that they would not make them for anyone other than Maserati. Shame, I think they'd sell a good few sets if they did a run of them.
