Hi everyone! I need to know the ground clearance because I doubt if the car is going to touch in the garage ramp...

I own a Elise and no problem with it, but it´s much shorter than the GS..., and the SLK is high like a Cayenne...

Thanks!

The GranSport is not that low and never had an issue TBH. If it's got aftermarket cats the removal of the squish pipes where it goes under the front subframe is your only area for concern. If it's stock don't worry about it.

The GS is not a low car - you'll be fine. I recently had my MCV slightly lowered, but I still think it looks a tad high from the front. But at least that means I won't damage the carbon front splitter. Maybe arrange to test drive a local one (or have a forum member pop round) and try it in your garage.

My Alfa GTV Spider is much lower and always scrapes going on and off the ramp. The GS does not.

Sorry but my experience is different. Exhaust was already in this situation when I purchased 2 years ago (6500 kms since then). The exhaust is for sure the place to watch. But the cats are still OK after all the hit they've got. Please be aware that the Manifolds are US spec which became standart for Gransport after a while (probably MY2006+). I'm going to change soon to 4200 EU spec manifolds and add new secondary pipe with Sport cats. Other parts of issue are the sway bars, front slip spoiler, rear heat shield for the spare tyre compartment etc. The car is quite low for Istanbul standards unfortunately so I have to be ultra careful.

Mine is also Eurospec but as I said, all EU spec GS after a certain year have the US spec manifolds with CATS very near to engine. Mine is 2006.

Just noticed you already purchased the GS, VERY BIG CONGRATULATIONS, you will Love the GS.

Just check the manifolds if they have CATs on. If you stick around this forum, you'll end up doing upgrades to your new Italian lady. Best to start is good set of tyres, brakes and than tune your exhaust. I have the DBW from a forum member but still did not install. Seems as most like having it.
