As many of you know I have this:

IMG_1831.jpg

IMG_1822.jpg

First thing, is that I think its had its rear bumper replaced at some point as the front grill is black and the rear grill is chrome, can anyone first off tell me that the grills should all match yes?

Second, I prefer the front chrome grill, it sets the black off and all my wheels could do with a refurb, so do you lot think I should keep my car dark trim and wheels or change them to nickel chrome wheels and trims (as the back one already is)

Colour, not the wheels show, so they will look like the GS Ball polished wheels (or can I get these wheels ball polished???):

Or I could go gloss black, with the red calipers this might look quite good, then just have the chrome front grill

Votes please....

Chrome front grill and gloss black wheels would be my choice, Matt. But with gloss wheels you need to stay on top of the brake dust to keep them looking good.

Matt,

Pretty sure that mine has black front grill but silver rear. I think the black grills were an option, but I believe its just the front. I think all rear grills are silver, on all cars.

Happy to be set straight though.

Car looks great. Makes me want to get the treatments out for mine!

Cheers

Hi Guys, I have a black GS. Front grill black and rear grills black this was a black option when new, allso have charcoal grey wheels with red calipers. My view keep the wheels grey not gloss black.

I vote for standard grey wheels or anything light, like the picture you posted. I like contrast with the wheels, so no black on black. Black or light color ok, or the other way around :)

Matching grills and wheels (collar and cuffs..?) could look pretty classy, Matt. You'd have to lighten the wheels up a few shades else the grills, especially the front, would somehow look wrong. Maybe nickel all round, as you say. I think if you go too far down the all-back route you'll run the risk of losing some definition. On black I like wheels either about the shade you already have or just a bit lighter. Not too light.

But that's only personal opinion.

You get Photoshopping and we'll get voting.

thanks Adam, a few have suggested making the wheels darker on mine, same as Matts which I've been thinking about

Grilles should be the same colour front & back. Mine are black all round.
The chrome grille would suit your car, Matt. As for wheels I prefer contrast, so either dark body with bright wheels, or light body with dark wheels. I'm not keen on the grey wheels with black bodywork - I'd either go for a bright finish or gloss black. Either option with chrome grilles.
Enzo - your wheels look great as they're unique. Polished faces with black(?) inserts.

Enzo, I am liking that, fancy swapping wheels?

I think I am sold on the front chrome grill, again, will swap if anyone fancies it.

Enzo, what are your wheels, ball polished or just painted?

I agree, you guys swap the grills so at least you have both a consistent set up. The problem is Enzo's setup is great but he needs the rear grill in the same color to make it perfect ;)
It's beautiful in black... I think I know which color I'll get if I ever stick it ;)
