Sorta like having a child..........

Oh hang on, it's nothing like having a child.... Despite having some of the most highly trained delivery staff, it's still an excrutiating experience, the after-sales is cr@p, there's no warranty and no chance of a refund, you have no chance of selling it on till you've financed it for 18+ years and then just when you think you've sold it on you actually find out you've inherited another money pit.

I'm pleased to add my praise to this thread.

I started looking casually earlier this year. Before Easter I decided to look in earnest and following the good reports on this forum I decided to task Richard with the search.

That turned out to be an excellent decision. I collected my '06 QP Executive from him yesterday. It wasn't the cheapest '06 QP in the country but I honestly think he's found me the best - and I've looked at quite a few.

He has been a gent to deal with from the off. He has been very open about prices and offered me what I consider is a decent part-ex for my previous car. Between my fussiness over colour combos and an uncharacteristic shortage of candidates during the search sometimes it looked like we weren't going to find it. I look at my inbox and I see Richard poured countless hours into this project. At times, had he been more pushy (read: normal car salesman) I could have been persuaded to take one or other of the cars which turned up on the way but he was the one who actually talked me out of them reminding me they didn't tick all my boxes and would only leave me disappointed.

He was right and the wait was worth it.

Yesterday I drove home my low-mileage, utterly pampered and perfect QP

I only wish there was a bit more tyre thread depth on it. I can see new tyres purchase coming down the road very soon. Especially if I use the loud pedal like yesterday
