Goodwood FoS recommended accomodation in the area?

Off to Goodwood Festival of Speed on Saturday, but thinking of staying over on Friday and/or Saturday.

Anyone recommend a suitable B&B or country hotel?

Was looking into this myself as we are going on the Sunday but decide to just go on the day as anywhere within an 1 hour of the place is fully booked.

Forget it - it all books up way in advance - most of us rebook for the following year on checkout!

look at places like Guildford - far enough away not to be booked up and an awesome drive in and out.

On Thursday I managed to book a place on airbnb between Chichester and Bogna Regis only 10 mins from circuit for Sat and Sun nights. Might be worth a look.

We have stayed in a few places when at Goodwood, two that I like and have used a few times are The Halfway Bridge and Amberley Castle Hotel. I know a few who have stayed at the Fox goes Free but that seems to get booked up very early (i prefer the other two anyway).

Finally got somewhere (Brighton!), but wow that was a struggle!

I know you are all saying, "what do you expect leaving it this late!", but was only offered the tickets at the weekend, and it is something always wanted to do, so couldn't say no.

Anyway - Thanks to those who tried to help - appreciated as always - will spend Fri Eve and Sunday experiencing the delights of Brighton!
