Car is back for sale again.....£22k
Yep, same seller. So just how long has it been for sale for......same seller?
P
Yep, same seller.
Shame of it is, it might be a very nice car but the fact its hanging around will put people off. Over due an annual based on the ad, and its the biggy! IIRC Bill McGrath quoted £2.5k for the 68k mile service.
For a 68k service? I think they are! I've never asked, but McGrath's were well priced for annuals compared to an indy, so I suspect they might be - I was told its the biggest service a GS ever had.Thats a quite a bit.....................what extra gets done then.......................even main dealers aint looking that!
P
haha...you'd hope so!what are they going to do cover it in gold leaf!
I couldnt swear by it, but I think January. This same seller from at least April time.So just how long has it been for sale for......same seller?
P
Blimey, thats good to know! I didnt specifically ask for the 68k cost, I was told when I asked about 31k service. Cheers for the info though, good to know, especially if its the same for a GS.Woody, have a main dealer service price menu here....assuming 4200s are similar in cost, its listed as costing £1678?!

But if car over a certain age/ mileage need to factor in lambda sensors, carbon filters and belts........so could add 300-400 more!
P
Very few owners have ever needed to change any of these items.
My belt is five and a half years old and looks like new. As for the lamba sensors...not sure. Which cats would they damage first and which are not needed for an MOT pass?
As for the fuel carbon filters, what are the symptoms of failure?
