Gatwick Meet any takers ?

Update

For all those who showed an interest in coming to the Gatwick Aviation Museum for an SM get together and a look around the planes. The owner has asked for suggested dates so he can accommodate us and show us around. I am very flexible so I am testing the water. Makes all the difference if we can find sunny day ! ( weather check ) as the aircraft are outside in the elements. The museum appreciates your support. There are no catering facilities at Museum so perhaps a drive to a nice pub for lunch or a blast down to Brighton?? Suggestions welcome.

I'm over in Bournemouth and Gatwick isn't too much trouble to travel to, got family in Brighton too, Devil's **** is not too far either and there's a cafe/pub.

Know it well , saved a young guys life in the car park early one morning , poor bugger had stuck a hose pipe through the quarterlight glass and was gassing himself , bless and i interupted it , pulled the pipe out but i thought he was already a gonner , smashed the side window and turned the engine off , he had been there sometime had icicles hanging from his nose , went back to the pub where i had an appointment with the landlord and called the Police/ambulance , so 15 minutes later the blue lights come , were drinking coffee in the bar , turned out the ambulance went straight to the guys car and he was still breathing .......just took him off to hospital .....

the coppers brought in a summons which was lying on the passenger seat , that day he was supposed to appear in court for stealing .......................wait for it £16 worth of pallets , apparently he lost his job some months previous , had been lieing to his wife and dsiappeaing each day as if was normal , that day was his D Day

got i nice commendation from west susssex constab , which for years was tucked neatly alongside my licence in its wallet hahaha never done me no good tho

Enjoy the meet anyway nice venue and scenery up there

Thanks. Great idea. I have been known to have a blast around Puretech. ( best time 1.13 ) Record around 1.01. A good idea indeed. I can arrange a booking if required. Numbers and suggested date needed please everyone who is interested.

My 13 year old son is doing 1.02's! My best is a high 1.03

If we can get a group of 30, you can get the place exclusively. I 've done this for another car club I belong to.

Lets do a morning session at PTR then lunch at a decent tyre kicking pub

Not sure if it makes any difference to you but thought I'd mention that 3rd June is the same day as Auto Italia at Stanford Hall which tends to have a big forum turnout.

Hi All

03rd June is fine by me. Any others interested please advise so I can arrange ? The plan would be to meet at the aircraft Museum ( Charlwood ) for browse and SM chat ( before lunch ) followed by Lunch at an agreed pub ( suggest a reasonable drive as Musuem and Puretech are only 5 mins apart ) followed by a group gathering at Puretech race car sims in Horley ( 5 min from Gatwick ) Approx 1.5hr group session. Should be all done by 5pm

Thank you for taking an interest in PureTech Racing.

The race experience is £35pp or £300 for a full group of 10, the peak time is weekday evenings from 18:00 and weekends. We do have an off peak session which is weekdays 2pm – 5pm and this is £25pp.

The times currently available for 6 people on Saturday 2nd June are:

12:20-14:00

14:00-15:40

14:20-16:00

14:40-16:20

16:20-18:00

18:00-19:40

18:20-20:00

18:40-20:20

20:00-21:40

20:20-22:00



Sunday 3rd June:

12:00-13:40

12:20-14:00
