http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-MASERATI...9641726?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item41576d187e

Bidding not recommended for the faint hearted
(I wonder why)

The car has no 'Red Key' but this is not a problem as advised by Maserati Specialists
(So that's ok then)

Error light on dashboard is on intermittently but as advised by Maserati Specialist this is down to the actuators within the suspension system fluctuating from time to time. This does not affect the cars handling or performance in any way.
(Perhaps a trifle optimistic - a very large trifle of course)

If unsure on any issues above please contact Autoshields Maserati direct on: 01618813467 & ask for Mario.
(I wonder if they are the Maserati specialists who say that a red key is not a problem, or that the suspension actuators just fluctuate from time to time)

Ho hum, getting cynical in my old age.

Apparently the 3200 is getting £5500-6000 as salvage at the moment! Perhaps going to Europe, given the exchange rate?

There is a green, I think it's Verde Mexico, which looks gorgeous with the right interior.

For me, this car comes with too many problems including no red key, no original history or books, an intermittent ERROR light, and cat D. Then on the one hand Autoshield claim to be Maserati experts, whislt on the other they talk about advice given by Maserati specialists as though that advice came from elsewhere. They must also know the conesequences of suspension actuator failure, and the cost of repair.

Is this a project whose costs bit them on the a55, or is it an undeclard commission sale? Either way it's a huge risk for any buyer. Good for spares though, at the right price.

Dont like the green.......

Not a fan either dem ...... but when Steve showed his at Bristol a few years back it did look lovely . Plus it was the 3200 that got the most attention from the crowd on the day.

At the right price, I'd run it until it died and then the red key isn't an issue. I like the green, be a shame to let it go for scrap :(

Autoshield and Marios are knowledgeable, I wonder how much input he has with this car? If he says it's straight, I;d give it a go. However, if the seller has just caled him for advice (my belief) then maybe not!
