Found a few old ones on my phone. This one is John Lowes’, former world darts champ. He obviously couldn’t afford 501. He’s a member at the golf club I play at, apparently he’s a talented scorer, great pencil skills ;)

Several years ago I bought a Carrera 4 as a winter run-about. It came with a private plate which reads (nearly!) as Porsche. Especially if, like me, spelling is not your strength. (I now have it on my new 911, but here’s a pic of it on the old one.)

I have PYIIGGY on retention (looks a bit like an old nickname of mine) and have always fancied putting it on a Porsche for the porcine connection.

One of the guys who comes to LM with us had a seriously modified Audi TT with the reg Y 50 SLO or Why So Slow not sure the Gendarme was over pleased when we passed them coming down into Indianapolis well into 3 digits, he didn't even lift just drove straight to the camp site and stuck the car behind our Gazebo for the remainder of the time there.

ST09 HER on an Merc EV that pulled onto the Newbury buypass almost hitting me as I did an emergency stop at 70mph!!!

Never has a plate been so apt.

Why do some think those on the main road need to stop to let them pull onto the motorway/bypass????

Sometimes I wonder if people name their company after their number plate.

Also, it is a bit of a giveaway when your very cool website makes you look like a huge corporation:

But your primary branded company vehicle is a 2012 Ford Fiesta.

And LinkedIn says you have 9 employees:
