It is a lovely colour. There are so few Bianco Fuji Gransports that this has probably been discussed before. Search for Bianco Fuji in the box at the top.

Did have a look, there was an old dead link to when it was previously for sale I believe

That’s such a great colour on the GS. Shame it has no wheels. First time I saw a similar colour was on a Countach in the late eighties and Alpine used it on a few GTAs.

I am interested in buying the car , it’s done 43000 miles with no receipt for a clutch - he’s getting a clutch reading done later in the week , see what that says, but I guess it would have to be in mind it may need one sooner rather than later

I really don't understand why everyone worries about clutches so much. You'd never even consider it on a manual car. I think it's due to the fact that you can obtain a clutch reading, however inacurate, and the mere fact you can do this causes the concern. If it wasn't possible to read the so-called wear, then none of us would care.

I say, drive it until it starts slipping and then change it. Until then, why worry?

Lovely colour, if a close look checks out that it's in decent condition, then go for it.

Lets be honest the CC set up has got a bit of a rep for knocking clutches out which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't cost 3 grand to replace, on a £20,000 car that's a fair chunk of money. If the reading came back showing the clutch only slightly worn it would give some degree of comfort to the potential buyer and a more worn clutch a bargaining tool.
Of course if the buying of the clutch was a more realistic price it would help matters too. When you see the prices of Valeo clutches for other cars compared to a Maserati it's daylight robbery.

You’re right, it’s got a bit of a reputation, mainly from the dodgy batch that had tang failures. I don’t remember seeing a clutch horror story in the last few years.

The cost is an eye watering compared to a Mondeo, but then they don’t come with twin plate clutches that need to be balanced.

I’m with Athol, be informed but keep calm and carry on. If they need a clutch every 30-40k miles, so be it. After all, it really really isn’t a mondeo.

To the OP, I hope it works out, it’ll be epic!

If you buy it then please get the wheels painted the next day, it will be stunning with silver wheels - looks like it sits well.

That looks lovely and in decent nick.

Obviously the number plate would fail an mot (not postcode of who made the plate) as long as the body work is ok and the paint is the same colour all round, that could be a nice buy.
