Front bumper removal

The front bumper cover on my 2013 GT has quite a few small paint chips on it, so I'd like to remove it, have it painted and then have paint protection film put on it before I reinstall it.

I'm looking for a tutorial on how to remove the bumper cover and I'd like to know if anyone has done this before. If so, how difficult was the process?

Thanks!

I don't remember any write up but basically, jack it up, both front wheels off, arch liners out, headlight supports out, headlights out, disconnect headlight washer pipe (near side), under tray off, fixings under the leading edge of the bonnet, front grill and inner conveyor out, disconnect fog and other satellite light plugs and the PDC multi plug (off side)

Get that lot off and give it a wiggle, it will become apparent any you have missed.

Thanks Conaero! I've heard that removing the headlight supports and the headlights are the most difficult part of the job because there's very little space. Your thoughts?

Well, they rot out so if they are disintegrated at the bottom, cut them out, get two new ones for about £70 a side and replace them.

I'm in Texas where it seems as though it never rains, so I don't think they'll have any rust!
