I’m going to say Carlos for the win...you heard it here first!

Like the sound of that although I would prefer it to be Norris...But both would have to get past Verstappen first which isn't the easiest of task...

This one race will be similar to the whole 2020 season of MotoGP.

While the cat was away the mice did play. Let the entertainment begin.

It is going to be very interesting. Russell was fast when he tested the Mercedes at the end of 2019 topping the time sheets ahead of Leclerc, although of course in testing you never know what fuel loads etc people are running.

He has shown though that he can get comfortable in a Mercedes very quickly and through the tests he has done with them they will already have a good idea how to set the car up for him and he also knows how the team works.

That's more than a little embarrassing for Bottas. Fell apart under pressure. Not the best annual appraisal.

I really hope that if there is a Merc on the Podium, its Russell, as he deserves it. Hoping for another double podium for RB.
Genuinely believe that Russell will finish ahead of Bottas in the race

I can’t see Mr. Hamilton being very happy. Just goes to show that he’s not streets ahead of other drivers in terms of driver skill. Yes he’s a great driver but he’s got on my t@@ts recently and needs someone to level the playing field.

Early days yet. Do you buy lottery tickets?

Joking aside, it is fascinating. God, it’s been a long year...

Russell will qualify 2nd or 3rd row and either stuff it or finish mid table. Free practice isn’t representative of anything.

There is a fair amount against him. Not comfortable in the seat, sitting too high in the car, wearing size 10 shoes when he is an 11 or his feat will not get into the cockpit and he was struggling with the wheel

I would love to see him get pole or even win because it will be such an impressive performance (therefore entertaining to watch) but I think it will more likely it is Verstappen or Bottas

The number 1 Red Bull car seems to have massively caught up to the Merc's which have not had any new upgrages/development for months

Biggest issue for him is that I reckon there’s only 4 or 5 drivers who’ve not been driving like tw@ts. Don’t know whether it’s coz of COVID but the driving standard this year have been pants.

Merc openly admitted months ago that they are working on 2021 car, with no development due for this years car. It the luxury they have had for the whole V6 era, being so far ahead of the game, that they can give up early and focus on next year, and then the cycle repeats itself. Its why its so difficult for anyone else to beat them.

Really? Bollox

You have no idea what spec the cars are running to therefore not representative. I mean it could be Russell had more fuel and worse tyres than anyone else so his showing was slower than race pace or equally it could be the other way round.
