The other 2 are great but wouldn't have them. E28 is too old for me but I know they are one of the best .. Chris Harris has one and says he will never sell. And E60 ... Would have an M6 before it.
I just love the shape of it, it is a classic, for 12K it is a real mint one, it was originally a south africa car but was imported, so there is a very good chance it is rust free and has only done 85K miles and the leather looks in superb condition. Would i buy it? would have to have a go in an E30 Evo 1 but i think i would sway more to the M5. Chris Harris describes his as a honey.
The E34 is a nice car, known as the lost M5, it represents great value at around the 5-8K mark.
no i wouldn't have the E28 over an E30 Sport Evo, i said over an E30 EVO 1, the first generation of E30 M3. The old M6 is nice but it wasn't for me a true M car. The 2002 Turbo, now your talking, but they are about 25K.
Any E30 M3 is a classic Adam ... Believe me they are a cut above the rest even in standard form ... BMW will not make a car like it again ...Although the new 1 series M coupe sounds great. Chris Harris gave it a great review in this months EVO. I think I like. Right size for a great M car.
I think it will be worth it Adam ... Its an M car...See past it. I think it will give most a kicking for that money. Thats worse case though Adam some may be cheaper.
yeah but it is a 1 series, i really dont like the way the M cars are going, Turbo's etc is a joke, the cars are looking boring as well, the M3 is still quite bland, the E46 was the last decent M series.
i would rather spend 40K on a Merc C63 AMG, the noise it makes, O.K it is not as good as an M3 but the new M3 has no drama what so ever, and when you need to get past, the Merc would thrash the M3.
just look at the M3, you could not tell it apart from a 318D sport, the Merc has huge shiny wheels, flared arches, 4 chrome tail pipes, diffuser, deep chin spoilers and the noise is awesome, i would have a white one as well.
