Dont jump the gun Phil ..............................watch this space
Really looking to see this progress Loz.
Back in 2014 just before I went to New Zealand I took on a Project 4200 for fun that had been condemned due to a failed water oil pump unit.
6 years on it's still going strong in NZ.
It was so good when I did it I shipped it with me and that's a story in itself.
If I can help more than happy too.

I remember it well phil , i was just in the throws of starting the mining project ,which i might add at the time cost me both the 4200 and Gransport Maserati's , Im sure all of you guys will be of invaluable input both in enthusiasm and mechanical input , i know we have the best on here and i couldnt be in better hands ,

We originally started this forum as no ordinary forum but more of a brotherhood of enthusiasts , and im glad to say this last week its been quite evident Matte has done brilliant in keeping what we developed in tact . Long may it reign

1992 and I bought my 1st Mas. the Bora. I said to the guy I bought it from that I had always lusted for a Daytona. He replied that he once owned a Daytona, and the Bora was a better driving car. He went on to relate the main difference between Fezzie owners, and Maserati drivers; "Two F owners meet for the 1st Time, the question is, "what's the serial # on your car?" Two Mas drivers meet, the question is " how many miles are on your car?"
This forum is the embodiment of that Maserati attitude. Bebs, you are the exception that proves the rule.:clapps:
I too, look forward to seeing the rebuild. Ed

Whereabouts are you based Loz? I’ve no mechanical ability but I’d love to help/learn.

Though mostly I’d be getting in the way/making nob jokes.

Nob jokes is fine ;) Based in Loughton Milton Keynes, she'll be here for a couple of days to check the simple stuff , should anything more major be suspect then , it will 100% be engine out when i could need a hand and then on a pallet to one of our well known specialist.

I’m only in Peterborough so not too far away. I imagine you already have one, but I’ve an engine crane gathering dust.

This isolation malarkey that Boris is on about, does it include all of us popping round, giving our opinion, sucking on our teeth, and cluttering up your garage with extra tea mugs?
Oh and nob jokes...
