Apart from the badge? (Or iirc the 40 plus badges all over the car).A bit wet on track today, making 620bhp more than adequate!
The Roma is a very impressive car, beautiful, and could realistically be used everyday. For me, there’s nothing about it not to like.

I'm off to Goodwood tomorrow to finally take a RHD Roma around the track. Should be fun, and even the weather looks okay(ish).
The invitation is from my local main dealer, Meridien Modena, so thanks go to them.
They do look great in blue. But... is it exponentially better - as in engagement, feel good factor, rather than raw performance figures - than, say, a 612/599?A bit wet on track today, making 620bhp more than adequate!

Exactly this.
I was chatting with their press officer and he said Ferrari have made a conscious effort to build a car that is appealing to Ferrari customers that don’t want a track weapon designed by down-force calculations. They realise that some buyers prioritise features such as beauty, style, working sat-nav and other tech, and a car that their wives are not embarrassed to be seen in.
You put it next to an Alfieri and its a dead giveaway, even when compared to the 4200 you can see the Maserati DNA all over this car.Hang on, isn’t it an Alfieri with a prancing horse on the front...they nicked it!
So shouldn't this read as 'Maserati back to designing beautiful cars'?I love it.....Ferrari back to designing beautiful cars....

Didnt the same thing happen with the original Gran turismo design becoming the California after Ferrari modification and Maserati having to rework their original design.

The Alfieri / Roma just seems to be history repeating itself.
If you look at:
4200 -> California -> Roma
Over
4200 -> GranTurismo
there’s a much more natural progression in terms of size and performance in the former as opposed to the latter, where the original GT was in some cases slower than the GS and being a much larger car.
Its rumored that the Granturismo was a last minute addition made by reworking the QPV components.
