Hi Forum

Has anyone tried the new Falken FK453 tyres? I used the 452s previously on the rears and felt the handling, performance and wear rate was a tad better than the Pirellis.

I had two instances of the side wall bubbling problem on the front Pirellis, so have decided to replace all tyres with the Falken.

Had the same issues as you, potholes splitting the sidewalls. Changed to Falken 452's and have been my tyre of choice on all of my cars since. I have not tried the 453's but sure they are basically the same with different tread pattern.

£560 for 4 Falken 453s for my 3200 from Black Circles. Com supplied and fitted.
Very quiet tyres and ideal for what is a GT.

Thats a huge saving...plus equal in performance to the premium brands.......good to know...love the quiet aspect as our roads seem to be a series of rumble strips linked together with white lines......;)

I have 453's on the front, and they are very quiet and behave well in the wet. I think they also held up well round Llandow yesterday, but the tread on the left front was a bit...wonky...at the end of the day.

Just ordered 2 of them for my fronts - £133 each fitted via BlackCircles. One of my fronts looks very dodgy after yesterday's track antics!

Noticed that tyres come with economy ratings just like a fridge and also a noise rating, anybody take notice of these? If so wouldn't they be going for Dunlop
SP Sport Maxx RT? At £160 a front, they're not cheap but they'll give good performance and a lot less noisier than Falkens (4db, which is more than half as quiet!). And you get triple clubcard points!!! Woo-hoo.

I've just replaced all four boots with the 453s and love them to bits. Cost to replace from Blackcircle was £520 plus 520 Clubcard Points for my dad to use!!
