Been a long wait for me...but now it's back and I can't wait

Practice sessions so far have shown that Mercedes and Michael are fast,
but due to unsettled conditions, no real feel yet for how they will all perform. relative to each other.

Loving the sky coverage, they have cameras everywhere...

Am hoping for action packed, clean racing...

Summer is here - cos F1 back on the telly
Due to global warming summer will be longer this year and extend into November, mainly because the F1 season requires it

Personally I shall be doing my bit for global warming and using the Maz as much as possible

Michael is only fast because he is allowed to be, the others are just cruising and not showing their hand just yet. Should be interesting now that Vettel & Webber do not have the design advantage they were allowed to keep last year, but not this?

Morning Loz, now I'll really rub it in as I am sitting on back patio having brekkie with F1s screaming in the background (very early practice now I think about it) and lots of hot air balloons floating over Albert Park. Don't know about the weather forecast for the rest of the day but right now it's perfect. Practice starts on Telly in about 4 hours.

It's self cleaning but I reckon I could buy a GT with what it costs to keep it all running! It's amazing the noise I am getting on the patio right now. The sound carries and I can hear every gear change. Luv it!!!!

Our office is in South Yarra and the sound is so loud you would think they were racing in the carpark.
I am heading off there today & tomorrow.
Will try to get some good shots to share with everyone.
I have a good friend who owns a Sunbeam Tiger & Alpine.
He will be driving one of the F1 drivers in the parade.
If he gets Hamilton he wants to take the Tiger so he can plant the foot and send Lewis toppling off the back!
I am looking forward to the parade of 60 Ferraris today celebrating 60 years of Ferrari in Australia.

You lucky man, are you close enough to get a view of the track? Couple of years back one of my clients who owned a very large building on St Kilda Rd had a BBQ on the roof (all catered) with clearviewsof most of the track...he sold the building against my advice!!

Andy by now you should just about be waking up. Hopefully you guys willbe getting some Telly of the practice sessions. Today has been perfect and right now the F111 is practicing overhead (yeah,like they need to practice...just an excuse to blast across the sky) and the noise is fantastic!! Remindsme of when I lived in Claygate (Surrey) and the Concorde flying overhead.
