Hi, I have had a non start on my 4200 Cambiocorsa recently [ engine didn't turn over and I couldn't hear the F1 pump ]
Then the next day I had a gearbox warning light flash up and it seemed to slur its gearchange for a few changes then went back to normal.
The gear indicator has also flashed a few times when coasting down from 6th gear to neutral approaching traffic lights.
So I'm wondering if I need to replace the pump? My question is, can you keep the hydraulics connected but swap out the motor so you don't need to bleed the F1 hydraulic system afterwards?
I have access to the pump seen here and I have access via the boot opening too but I'm wondering if the motor can be lifted clear without first removing the whole pump assembly?
Any pointers or experiences would be much appreciated!
