The rear sensors are longer labour - around 2-3 hours. The parts price quoted is full retail with no discount applied. At those prices for parts ad labour, it almost makes sense to drive the car across on the Ferry to Liverpool/Birkenhead and take it to Autoshield in Manchester, one night B&B and drive back via the Ferry. Perhaps have it serviced whilst at Autoshield.

Dealer said part is £700+vat and 2-3 hours labor! No independents in NI that have any sense of reputation.
I have sourced a part at eurospares for £532+vat. So ill go for that.

also being charged £1,630 odd inc vat for oil change, oil filter, brake fluid, compressor drive belts, air filter and pollen filter! Seems a little much too?

im ** because they know they have me by the short and curleys!
Johnny Cargo did mine - JRC Auto near Lisburn.

Ps - checked the invoice, £222 inc vat for fitting and it was a rear one which takes longer. Although mine is a 2005 Coupe I think the effort is similar? Others might confirm that.

He has various code readers - he was certainly able to identify which wheel had the dud bearing. Changing your bearing should be quite straightforward for him. I have used him for about 10 years, albeit more for Alfa than Maserati. I still get main 12.5k services done by Maserati specialists; Autoshield or CH.

So, as above other others quoting 2-3hrs…it will be 3hrs.

We charge 4hrs for this reason. There is a P clip wedged under the driveshaft up against the hub on the lower wishbone. The driveshaft has to come out and the hex on the P clip rounds as it’s a sod to get to. Many cut the P clip with a hacksaw blade, peal it open then either don’t bother replacing it (you can’t due to access) or place it back in the remains of the P clip and blob sealant over the top. You must secure it otherwise it will run through on the driveshaft and kill the bearing.

To do the job properly you have to free the lower wishbone inboard fixings and tie rod and swing the arm down. Then you can get to the P clip and deal with it properly. For this we allow 4hrs and we all groan when it’s diagnosed as a rear. So at forum discount of £59ph that’s £236 labour, £600 bearing and £15 for a hub nut. The hub nut is a use once item as it’s hammered over to seal.
