no poblem at all Si i will email all of them to you in full size by the end of the week, i showed a mate at college my pictures, and he wants me to take pics of his car and probably his dads ferrari 308gts. And what you going to ask santa for?

Could this be a change in career Adam?

Was going to ask Santa for a new camera. Everytime I ask for a car I get a Corgi replica - plus somehow or other I guess I would be paying for what ever Santa buys....

A 308 GTS - now that is proper car. You will have to tell us whether your mates dad has a moustache and a buddy called Higgins.

Si, hope you sell and get what you want for her ... I think she is lovely ... Just wish I was in the market ... cheapest GS for sale currently. I see you have had two offers....Bet they were silly offers to. Remember may mate selling his 911 on Ebay and the firts offers were 10k under his asking price.

Yep Andy - silly offers I have now put a auto decline on offers under a certain amount. Just had an email from PH website for someone interested in shipping it to Australia - crazy! I remember someone saying that one of the specialists (ADG?) were shipping GS's to the AU market. Perhaps they didn't ship many there in the first place.

Funny story about when I was selling my 911 - I had a guy hounding me by saying "you won't get a better offer".....the last one he sent was along the lines of "Right! If you don't accept my offer by the end of the day, I'm going to buy an '05 Boxster S which I have seen privately" - was very tempted to ask him a week later whether he had met anyone at the lights driving a 911 - by this time I had sold it for pretty much the asking price.

I think if I don't get much interest, I will get it serviced and keep until the spring. Still a lovely motor and Adam's pics are pretty good.

Hi Si,
In Australia, Grandsport's sell from upwards of $A100,000 (approx 60,000GBP) At your selling price the car would cost the purchaser approx. $65,000 on the road.
On that basis I have numerous clients importing them (and other models) at quite a good margin.
I have one guy in Perth looking for a GS now....who knows maybe he spoke to you.
ADG must be doing well here, Alistair tells me he's down here for a couple of weeks early this month.

While the $A is strong there is a ready market. 2 years ago we were getting 38p to the $ now its 61p, you can see why Aussies are now buying.

Sounds like I should ditch my day job, move to Australia and start importing nice cars!

Its summer over there now and I need a holiday. Now, can I wangle it so that I sell my car to someone in Australia and get a free holiday out of it......

everyones doing it andrew...ADG have been for years and a few private sales have ended up there....id want 20k for my car to the aus if anyone wants it down there??
