If you look at the one garage it's around 3/4 millions worth and that would be small change for the richest.

Nor did they at 17 Adam...................mostly luck......................ultra hard work......................high risk takers.................had a patron.............or a unique and peculiar skill!!

If you look at the richest list......only a small percentage went to university!!!

Not always....some of the risks taken are incredibly risky....................ie......virtually madness.................but if they come off huge rewards....if not....JAIL!...

I once met a couple who bought a mansion in somerset.(28 bedrooms)
They wanted to do some work on it so paid a decorator to paint the walls in a traditional paint.However the traditional paint (or distemper) was not readily available at the time,so the builder supplied crown white emulsion.
They paid £250 a litre for this "special paint" that allowed the walls to "breathe" (lathe and plaster) and £2000 for the painting of 4 walls in a room about 24ft x 12ft.
The mansion came with stables and a coach house and the coachhouse had a clocktower that was round except for the bottom 2 courses of stone that were qoiun stones and sharp and angular.
They asked the builder i was contracted to (mason) if he could knock off the edges of those eight 1 foot stone qoiuns and the builder asked me if it could be done and i said sure about 2 hours work.
He had a lot of other stuff on and really couldn`t be bothered but he put in a quote of £50,000...... which they readily accepted!!!
The couple had a dot com company and sold it 18 months later for £60 million (after Taxes).
The statement "more money than sense" springs to mind
