We don't hate you. Well I don't

I think there's other things I'd rather spend my money on but....

Real carbon, dipped or wrapped?

Was thinking of doing similar on the 4200, so I'd be a hypocrite if I said I hate you.

F#ck me backwards - that is a sh!t load of money for something that nobody will see and adds no tangible value.

However, "because I can" is good enough justification for me :)

Seems expensive, but looks like a quality product, and as pre preg carbon can be £100 per sq/M, seems pretty reasonable. Im trying to find a way of replicating the FD carbon paddles for the 42/GS for less than £600, but when you account for tooling, etc, not to mention the first one is more than likely scrap, it becomes very difficult to get close on price. Thats before the cost of trimming, and finishing and lacquer. FD have probably more than made a profit by now on the paddles, but there are a lot more factors involved in making something out of carbon, than most people realise.

To be fair, the OP has said that the one he is looking at is not as expensive as the link I posted - still I bet it’s still a fair few £££££ and dipping would be the route I would take.

If I was to spend some money on more carbon for my car it would be on a rear diffuser.

Does look lovely though

We do a lot of hydro dipping and it’s good but it’s not quite the same in my opinion .....I’m not paying £3400 odd but still it is expensive
