Diff oil change?

Hi all,
Hope you can help? Has anyone changed the diff oil on a 4200? If so are there any instructions on how to do so? I found the gearbox oil change details but not diff.

Hi Daniel,

good news is that you found the instruction. Differential and Gearbox are in the same housing, so by changing your gearbox oil you will also change the differential oil.

75w90 about 3l of it, get Redline LSD

Undo the filler screw first on the drivers side just to make sure you don’t drop your oil and cant refill it.

If you try and pull the filter and it snaps you in all sorts of trouble so best you don’t touch that.

+1 on the Red LIne oil. Get one of those 1 litre oil sucky injector things to pump new oil in. You will need new copper washers.
