Dead key fobs and flat battery

Hi Guys - I have my beloved 4200 cc - 2004.

Both key fobs have died over the last 2 years and so I have been locking the car on the door locks - just like they did in the old days.

All was well until I took her off the road for winter, the battery went flat enough to need a charge and now, as soon as a door is opened or any other electrical drain is applied etc the alarm goes off.

She still starts (which is a surprise) but obviously I can't go driving her with the alarm screaming constantly.

So I have no idea how to fix it. Do I need new fobs, and some new ecu to talk to them - if so, it sounds expensive.

Any help at all would really be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice

Cheers

Sounds like your alarm system has lost it's pairing to the keys when the battery was drained and the car not used. I don't know whether there's a DIY re-set procedure, but I believe they can be re-paired using the SD. Marios will sort you out for sure.
