Similar with my 4200 Spyder, clock slowed… and slowed… and after a few months stopped altogether. Yours may well be headed that direction.
Part is no longer available but perhaps some wise hobbyist here has replaced the cheap electronic parts on the back of one of these clocks to get them working again?
Thanks Phil, the work I did was to see about replacing the luminescent plate (backlight) with LED bulbs, it worked but was near impossible to diffuse it efficiently.
I would have thought, almost any mechanical clock from a 90’s/00’s car could be grafted into the case, it is generous in proportions. There are only three connections needed 12- 12+ and 12+ lights.
