Hi, just incase it’s of use to anyone, was loosing about 2mm of coolant each time I went for a run, noticed the header tank had a little bit of water where the too half’s of the tank are plastic welded together each time, on removing the tank there was a crack behind the steel tank clamp, so drained coolant fitted new tank (fiat doblo) and filled with 50% red 5 year antifreeze. After a few runs noticed still going down so looked under passenger footwell and could see a small amount of red at the bottom of the heater matrix confirmed with pushing kitchen towel against the sponge. Thinking I’m going to have to pull the dash out over the winter noticed a little red from the top hose connection on the matrix so nipped up both matrix connections and been out 3 times so far so good. Thanks to the information help on this forum.

Good to know! The header tank and matrix are known issues, if you end up doing the matrix there is an excellent how to.
