Looking for a set of Coil springs for skyhook suspension, mine are quite badly corroded.
I'd like to get a set to have shot blasted and Plastic coated, to fit to my car, and then
get the ones I take off sorted in the same manner, and offer them on here.

What model car do you have?
New springs from Maserati are not that expensive, about £100 for a complete set, is it worth it?

They were £200 each plus tax on Eurospares last time I looked....Eibach used to do great after market spring kits for the 3200/4200 range ten years ago, they do pop up on eBay Germany now and again

Depends on the model.
3200/early 4200 yes over £200 each, but later 4200/GS much cheaper.
I must admit they do appear to have gone up since last I looked, more like £200 not £100 the set so still reasonable....for Maserati!

Mike,What's the difference as all the 3200/4200 cars are basically the same.exept the 4200 cars have slighty more weight to the rear

Regarding price and crossing between 3200/4200 have a look on the Eurospares web site.
There is a cross over, so it appears 3200/early 4200 share springs, and the pricing does vary, some are £25 each, some are £225 each!
Best to go to your main dealer with your spares number (on VIN plate), my experience is that the main dealers can discount to Eurospares prices or even beat them, certainly JCT600 Leeds are more than happy too as apparently they used to supply Eurospares!!!
