Are you sure?

Seems incredible, Alan invoice for each part was:
disc 500.55 (20% discount)
cover 390.02 (20%)
bearing 377 (10%)

TOTAL 1267.57 GBP!!!

If you have a trade account you can buy the whole kit for around £450 including tax from Sachs UK in Rugby

And yes they also stock the 4200 clutch parts too

The mark up some companies charge is unreal.....

Its on 74% but is good, no issues so do I replace it or do I leave it till it fails?

What I might do is buy the clutch and when I sell the car next Spring, bung it in as part of the deal, I think thats fair.

If it was slipping, would that cause damage to the flywheel or are the two un-related?

The 3200 clutch will last qiute a long time without slipping, maybe up to 40k...but when the pressure plate starts wearing the clutch starts to feel very wooden and heavy.... theres no nice light over centre feeling when you push the clutch pedel down

A worn clutch will also give the crankshaft thrust washers an even harder time and we dont want that do we..

From my experience, the bearing ears will sheer off before the clutch wears out, happened to me on the school run.
