Clear Indicators on Front Headlight Cluster - GTS 09-13

Does anyone have access to or know where I could source some headlights without the orange indicators....

If I were you I would take it to someone and have your units opened and have the orange bit cutout and replaced with clear. Can't be difficult.

That definitely looks better - I cant see the photo that well - not sure if it is the lighting but there is still orange to be seen.

I don't want to sound prejudiced , and I am not anti orange per se - its just on a car - I don't like it being associated with lighting.

Not really a sunbed kind of chap then, Iain? Yes, the is orange still visible. Without breaking open the lights and physically removing and replacing the orange lens it always will be. No orange at all would be nice buy to achieve that you'd need to either do as Matt suggested and remove the lights, break them open and replace the orange part, or replace the lights completely. Time and cost galore. My approach of putting some tinted film over the orange part of the headlight (and the fog-lights as well, the hawk-eyed observer will notice) took 5 minutes and cost nothing. I know which option I prefer!

Adam , mod looks good for a small outlay how did you get access to the orange parts ? did you have to take the light apart ?

Agree - the cost otherwise is madness. Project X wanted 750 per light.

What film did you use? Did you just put it over the top yourself?

Try these guys. They do all sorts of crazy things for the dub custom scene but I'm sure that properly darkening the orange sections or even changing them is well within them

I think it may cost me the same as new headlights though to get there and back

No it's just cut to shape and stuck on the outside. Dub Customs did it when they did the stripe.
