Yes I know Edward extremely well, have enjoyed countless lunches and dinners in his company over the years. I first met him around 1995 when I needed a box of Cuban Davidoff Dom Perignon authenticated. I brought it with me from the humidor at Christie’s to his shop in St James’s. Rather than just authenticate, he promptly went downstairs to his treasure chest of cigars and fetched a genuine Dom Perignon for me to smoke there and then in his shop, so that I would recognise it the next time I came across a box (very rare even then at around £250 stick)@Bebs Are you acquainted with the Sahakian father & son duo? (one can’t imagine the answer to this question being no..)
I could listen to them tell cigar stories all bloody day..

Such a gentleman.
Saw him on December 4th last year, at the annual London smoker of the year award.
His son Eddie was working in the city back then and at the time was not involved in the cigar business, so I know him less well.
There are some great YouTube clips of them as you rightly say.
