I know I have not been on the forum much but have been pursuing business interests.

Well the time has come to say goodbye to the UK as I am taking a job in the Middle East, Saudi to be exact and there is no way I will drive a Maserati in Riyadh as it is too small

Do know that my company car will be a 6ltr Chevy Caprice, built by Holden apparently, which will give some protection from the crazy drivers out there because of its size.

This comes after I had decided not to sell and use the Gransport over the summer. Best laid plans! So does anybody want a Gransport?

Hey William gutted to see you go mate , you could always pop,your head through the door occasionally , really pleased that the job front has reaped dividends , i know you had a bit of a torrid time last year Good luck and all the best for the future , be careful driving out there , even if an accident is not your fault as a foreigner you are deemed liable if its a Saudi National you happen to collide with , Riyadh aint the best of places , but your ideally suited for weekend flights away down to Mauritius and or Seychelles or Mombassa for some awesome fishing

Spent 5 years out in the Middle East and also previously lived in Riyadh so know the score, that was why I asked for an american size SUV, but apparently they are only given to the guys who work out at the mines, management have to drive a car
