I came across these on EBay from Germany which even with the postage are still £500 less than the Eurospares or Scud parts for a pair of disks. They are certainly being advertised as Brembo but I am guessing they must be fake:

Any thoughts?

Sells a lot of brakes and their feedback is pretty good.
Yes I thought all the feedback looked ok, still seems too good to be true though as these are £559 each at EuroSpares - what am I missing ?. Would there be tax or anything additional to pay if buying from Germany?

Recon they may have priced it for one disc, worth an ask
Definetely says 2 discs both in the title and in the specification section it says (once translated) “Included in delivery = 2 x brake discs” … but yes I think I will send a message to query.

Check the VAT position....you might have to add on 20%

Yeah I have been trying to work out if it’s payable or not, I guess that it probably is … but even so it’s still a saving of approx. £350 over uk prices for 2 disks or would there still then be import duty to pay on top of that as well?

On the topic of uk prices, does anyone know if there is any forum discount with EuroSpares or Scud parts?

I have just bought something of eBay - no import duty but 20% VAT was added prior to purchase

Thanks for the info. I was just reading up on it within the eBay faqs and yes it seems that 20% vat would be payable for sure - which assuming they are genuine and there is no import duty then although still expensive for brake discs makes them a bit of a bargain.

I have emailed the seller so will let the forum know later if it all seems legit.

Go for Zep’s uprated disc upgrade. So worth it even if it is slightly more expensive. Your GT will stop properly. The OEM discs really do not like coming down from 120 mph… feels like they’re not up to the job of stopping a near 2 tonne car. Add braided hoses too, makes a huge difference.

The eBay discs are real and genuine. I bought a set of drilled and grooved ones for my 2013 GranTurismo Sport. The price is for two discs. Didn't pay VAT as I had them shipped to my brother in Luxembourg and picked them up on a visit to the Ring for a track day. They come with the correct security holograms and are dual cast technology, so definitely not fake. The car stops well with them from 120+ - Ferodo DS3000 pads - where Maserati ****** up, was specifying too small bore brake master cylinder...

Thanks for confirming they are real. Shame I don’t know anyone who lives abroad I could have them delivered to!
