This Gransport for sale is now my car and here’s a bit of background and how I acquired it.
I own 2 small showrooms 1 in Cookham, 1 in Marlow, the previous Chinese Owner who’s a nice chap lives nr the Cookham site and drove in last month and wanted to sell it without the agg of going down the private route. He lives both here in the UK and back in Hong Kong.
He’s owned this car for 5-6 years and imported here himself.
We talked and I had a good look over it & drove it (all very good) but the issue was the history or lack of it and his genuine vagueness. It’s a genuine enough car and a Factory RHD But The impression I got was their not to hot or bothered about service records back in his home land so he didn’t seem to concerned. He was leaving to go back to HK that next day for a week and said he’d ask the garage who look after all his cars what they’ve done over the years of his ownership. He did and returned with the limited history I now have in Chinese of course. This is how it works out there for him. All his cars are looked after by this 1 company and they simply collect them and drop them back when 1 of his car’s are up for service! or if anything’s needed he’ll call them and they collect repair deliver it back usually when he’s away on business trips they then bill him and the car’s back before he is hence his Vagueness on his 1st visit to me last mth. So It seems in his ownership the car’s not actually given him much troubles (lucky man,lol) and he’s produced very limited service invoices in Chinese with some part invoices too. The car’s excellent and doesn’t seem to want for anything but you can be the judge of that. As it says in the advert your welcome to bring your expert with you and check it over fully. We have facilities You are welcome to, I have no idea of the clutch ware but it drives spot on. No judder, slip, clunk or strange noises and is a very tidy car inside and out.
