I love the way you can just keep your foot flat to the floor and flick the paddle, no lifting and both hands on the wheel, all the F1 boys seem to like the idea, but they do steer too..!!

1k.....isn't a big enough gap in price to say a manual carries a premium over a CC...so many other things will make it worth....2/3/4/5/6/K more or indeed less

No idea Frank.

Understood Andy. Bought mine because I wanted a manual and it is a keeper so resale value less of an issue. Who knows in 5 or 10 years when flappys are everywhere manuals may become sought after. Like vinyl :)

You never know nfm......There may come a time when everyone gets bored of the box doing it for you and want a bit of the old days back.

Yeah...but...yeah but.....the CC is a merely robotised manual.......so how truly different is it?

It's a lot different when you are in traffic or doing a three point turn for a start! Yes Frank week end has started so having a tipple for my wee nerves...

I always thought that a 4200 with a CC box was probably faster than the 0-60 time suggested given its not great from a standing start. So while it might be specced the same as, say, a 911 at 4.9 seconds (or whatever it really is) that means that through the gears the Mas is probably faster because the 911 will get away better within that time.

Just a theory - no empirical evidence for it at all.

Others might not have such trouble as I in getting a quick start (given I don't want to trash my clutch to test 0-60 times - it's not that important to me!)

Cheers

I'm glad it's not just me! I sometimes feel the 4200 is well slow from the lights. But once it's moving......
