Yes, has been discussed on here already this past week or so. Thoughts are it was Cat-D because of past hydrolock so new engine from Shiltech after the event.

That type of write off is not really that bad and is a bargain for a buyer who wants to drive it a lot.

Just have to accept that it will never have the same resale value.

Buy cheap, enjoy, sell cheap, no probs. :)
The leaking heater matrix, wheel sensor and lack of MoT is the beginning.
Probable clutch and subframe is where it might end.

The thing is it’s not cheap enough, when a well looked after but high mileage blue one on here is three grand more.

I agree….We know the high mile one is well looked after and probably wants for nothing. I know which one I would buy. That three grand over the blue one could disappear in a second in a car with issues.
