(the names have been changed to protect the innocent…)

So let's imagine a land with a large city and around it was a three lane road (like a motorway) in the process of being expanded to 4 lanes…

Out for a blast on this imaginary road this morning in sports mode around the North I wasn't breaking the limit by more than 30ish when the outside lane magically opened up for about a mile ahead… Not tempted at all I dropped it into 5th as I've done plenty of times in the past and the loud pedal had an unexpected effect on the yaw of the vehicle??? I found myself looking momentarily out of the other side of the screen to look forward and heading for the armco in the middle!!! TF for MSP!!! As normality returned to the direction of the car and some minutes later to my heart rate….

Lesson learned and looking forward to the wet handling day methinks!!!

I'm off to change my under crackers!

I think it must have been Enzo & its a bit bumpy and concrete around that bit so it was probably going light at the same time... Got to get back to thinking like the biker I am at heart and read the road better!

Sounds like very similar circumstances that i had in my 4200 some years back, shant bore you with the details as most on here have heard it a dozen times , but i ended up doing a 720 at 85mph for no real apparent reason , just floored it from 50 in 5th got to 85 then it span and span and span , like being at alton towers but i wasn't smiling exactly the opposite , suffice to say i had bruised and sore sphincter muscle all the way home

regards loz

Oh yeah... Got the full adrenaline metalic taste in my mouth... you know it is seroius when you get that!

I did the right thing in keeping the fornts pointing wherre I wanted to be going and the MSP got it back in shape thankfully... We were on our way to a game (rugby) and had just passed several of the lads team mates which may have contributed to the lead foot!
