I'm interested to know as I suspect I fall into the same camp, but what exactly is it that's wrong with the Veyron?

We're playing with Monopoly money here, but I suspect the Veyron would sit below numerous other hyper-cars - Pagani, Koenigsegg, the new lambo, the one77, An Enzo, F40?

Its stats' are pretty much second to none, but would you buy one?.........

So we're talking soul, or lack thereof?............

We're talking about where mechanical excellence ends and art begins..........

Is that the problem? For all it's undoubted excellence, and it's the most brilliantly prepared canvas without a doubt....... is it a Mona Lisa? Yes she's brilliantly executed, yes she may (or may not) be smiling, but who cares when there's Venus Rising?

I see your point miles as months back when i started a "dream car thread" no one said veyron till i pointed it out....i like them...id buy one if my numbers came in but i like the convertible more, gransport i think they called it....
Its not pretty, you buy it because it is the concorde of the car world...fastest thing out there.....

I admire the Veyron for what its achieved but thats about it ... Even if I had the money I would not buy one ..... Enzo has more passion....VW have made the Veyron a bit to easy, if you know what I mean ..... Strangely they haven't doen that to the Lambos ..... The new Lambo is the car of the momet for me.

well thats what id do....they will be the garage queens and the GTS and 458 will be everyday cars....

if you love them that much Enz, go to the La Vie En Blu event at Prescott Hill Climb, it is a Bugatti event held there once a year, i think i will probably go as the new Veyron SS will be there, not a big Veyron fan but i like looking at them.
